Family Sundays - Workshops for all

Justin Stephens’s painting Histories, 2011, on display in the exhibition Pictures for an Exhibition State of the World, will prompt participants to make acrylic paintings of abstract images that emerge from their exploration of his many surprising and original strategies of execution. Acrylic, roller, staples, oil pastel, contrasts and textures will all enhance the joy of discovery.

About Family Sundays

Our Family Sundays are intended for all audiences, whether they are already familiar with contemporary art or are new to it: children age four and up, teenagers and adults. In a relaxed atmosphere and under the guidance of our welcoming, energetic staff, participants observe original works of art and discover, through a hands-on approach, new ways of creating.
