Friday, December 7 will offer a hip-hop Nocturne, with Alaclair Ensemble: four rappers, a vocalist and a renowned beat maker. In their playful take on the Québec accent and language, they describe themselves as “a troupe of post-rigadoon Lower Canadians zigzagging between Quoibec and Mourial.” Some of you may recall the group’s much-noted appearance at Metropolis during last winter’s Nuit blanche. They also showed up among the top picks of 2011 with their album Le roé c’est moé.
