Another Way of Seeing

Currently unavailable

This program for people who have low vision allows participants to familiarize themselves with contemporary art and will spark their curiosity about the inventive practices of artists; through artistic expression, they will have a chance to extend their aesthetic experience.

Inspired by a wall sculpture titled Debby Lexier’s Tulip Drawing, by Micah Lexier, participants will be invited to produce a bas-relief on the tulip theme. In order to fully experience this artwork, participants will be provided with a tactile plate accompanied by a text in Braille and in audio.

Please note that guide dogs and service dogs are welcome. In addition, a signature guide is at your disposal at the reception desk of the MAC.
