Photovoice: Imagine the Museum in a Different Way

au
For groups of visitors with disabilities

Photovoice is a participatory action-research method that uses photography and group dialogue as a means to engage all citizens with respect to issues that impact them. Here, Photovoice mostly serves to amplify the voice of persons with disabilities.

Photographs highlight stories sometimes overshadowed by society’s conventional narratives and are used to reach these audiences.

Hence these visitors, who are experts of lived experience, can relate directly to the activities that take place at the Museum.
