Musician, writer, curator and artist Nelson Henricks is known primarily for his video and installation work. His experimental approach is poetic, ironic, and anchored in popular culture. Early on, his work addressed notions of identity from an autobiographical perspective; this eventually led to explorations on the nature of consciousness as it relates to time and perception. More recently, he has produced multi-channel video installations, while also exploring photography and other mediums.
