In the late 1970s, Rober Racine emerged as one of the most important multidisciplinary artists of his generation in Canada. A musician, writer, visual artist and performer, he has developed a research-based approach, where compulsive action becomes a means of liberation. The artist’s objectives are boundless and touch several aspects of human knowledge. Racine is routinely involved in the realization of large-scale projects whose starting points and concepts remain relatively simple.
