Thomas Köner

A trained musician and composer, Thomas Köner is known for his compositions that use subtle sound processing to achieve a state of total consciousness. Wanting to create a more intense listening experience, he began to combine sound and visual elements, and to collaborate with several important video artists such as Jürgen Reble and Yann Beauvais. His broad art practice encompasses sound production, installation, video and performance. Sound and image share a symbiotic relationship in his work, evoking meditations on the passage of time, memory and the notion of space.
