Artwork description
In the Street (Tom) is part of a series of six diptychs titled In the Street (The Saint-Etienne Series I) which continues the artist’s inquiry into how personal identity is preserved within public space. The work portrays an ordinary man and woman as contemporary heroes navigating through the experience of modern life across dynamic streets, monumental architecture, the proliferation of signs, and the unnerving rhythm of our time.
