- Artwork description
- Jean-Pierre Morin is known for his sculptural practice that is characterized by the relational arrangement of monumental forms in space. Vent illustrates the notion of instability that inspired the artist during the late 1980s. An imposing sculptural diptych creates an opposition between an immense spiral and a sharp-angled cockscomb form, a shape Morin also used in his piece titled La pierre et le feu (1985).
