Welcome to the MAC!
The museum will re-open its doors to Visitors on June 24th. We can’t wait to see you all. In the meantime, we propose you get acquainted with the Guide below in order to plan your visit.
Before your visit to the museum …
- If you have COVID-19 related symptoms (fever, dry cough, fatigue, respiratory difficulties, headache, etc.), please stay at home, take care of yourself and reschedule your visit.
- Purchase your ticket online prior to your visit. You will also be asked to reserve a time slot.
Consult our new hours and admissions information.
- Factor in a little extra time for your visit. It is possible that you’ll have to wait in line outside the museum, so make sure you’re prepared (sunscreen, hat, umbrella…). We will do our best to make the wait as short as possible.
- Make sure to be on time as the museum may have to refuse entry to those guests who didn’t make their chosen time-slot due to strict rules limiting our capacity to welcome visitors
- The MAC invites you to wear a face-covering while in the museum. This is not a requirement, but rather a recommendation. Protecting yourself also protects others.
- Our coat room is temporarily closed; we therefore invite you to keep your personal effects to a minimum when visiting the museum as you’ll have to carry them with you.
Upon arrival at the museum …
- Go to the MAC’s main entrance, located at 185, Saint-Catherine Street West.
- We ask that you respect social distancing measures while waiting to enter the museum. It is possible that you may have to wait in line outside. We ask that you use this time to familiarize yourself with the museum’s guidelines for visitors.
- A staff member will direct you to the closest handwashing station.
- Follow signage to the Admissions counter where your ticket will be validated.
- Start your visit!
