MOMENTA Biennale de l’image serves as a platform that operates year-round for the purpose of disseminating and mediating contemporary art. The organization is unique for how it looks at and raises questions on the place of images in today’s society.
Among MOMENTA’s wide range of activities, the biennial is a flagship event presented in partnership with exhibition partners from all over the world. Based in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang/Montréal, MOMENTA has been developing exhibitions, digital projects, public programs, creative workshops and collaborations of all kinds for over 30 years.
