Program

Animals in the Spotlight
March 10 to May 1, 2026

Designed for primary schools and offered by the MAC art mediation team, this class activity offers an engaging introduction to contemporary art through a wildly creative theme. Through a presentation of works from the Museum’s collection, students will get to know artists from various disciplines who use animals as their subjects in unusual ways. Inspired by the many combinations of spots, lines, textures, proportions and shapes particular to animal anatomy, they will make their own original collage, creating hybrid creatures that are as surprising as they are imaginative.
