When Art Meets Architecture

Although our temporary space at Place Ville Marie no longer hosts exhibitions, the En famille at the MAC workshops offers you another, equally stimulating experience: discovering artworks in indoor and outdoor spaces at Place Ville Marie, where you will be guided to observe and understand the connections that exist between art and urban landscapes.

This common theme, enriched by two recent acquisitions by artist Marlon Kroll, will encourage you to find inspiration in your daily environment as part of the workshop: doors, stairs, windows, familiar objects… By applying layers of colour with wood pencil and wax crayon, you will create intriguing images, navigating between figuration and abstraction.
