Program
Alanis Obomsawin: The Children Have to Hear Another Story
From October 2, 2024 to January 26, 2025
During the tour of this retrospective, the art mediator will guide your discovery of the life and work of Abenaki documentary filmmaker, activist, and singer Alanis Obomsawin. A selection of Obomsawin’s most outstanding films, accompanied by a variety of artworks and archives providing context, highlight her important contribution to the emergence of a documentary style that lets its subjects speak for themselves. The interactive tour will stimulate discussion and reflection around the issues raised within the exhibition related to Indigenous cultures and communities.
After the tour, and depending on the availability of audio devices, participants can continue their discovery of the exhibition on their own.
Dérives cellulaires
From March 12 to August 10, 2025
During the tour, the art mediator will guide your observations of the works and encourage conversations about the themes raised within the exhibition.
