Louise Höjer, producer of the exhibition and a close collaborator of the artist, will be in conversation with Marie Lavorel and Gilbert Turp, two of the players of the work This situation. This talk, which will be given in French, will be moderated by Mark Lanctôt, Curator of the Collection at the MAC and will focus on Tino Sehgal’s unique process and the experience of playing in one of his work. Purchased in 2011 by the MAC, This situation has been presented for the first time in Montréal in 2013 and will be on until March 29, 2025 at the Galerie de l’UQAM.
Louise Höjer is a dramaturge, theorist and dancer/singer. She has been a close collaborator with Tino Sehgal since 2005 and works as his rehearsal director. She has a long-standing interest in the cross-over of visual and performative arts, and was former co-curator of the visual arts x dance program at ImpulsTanz in Vienna. She gives workshops and lectures internationally.
