Justin Stephens’s painting Histories, 2011, on display in the exhibition Pictures for an Exhibition – State of the World, will prompt participants to make acrylic paintings of abstract images that emerge from their exploration of his many surprising and original strategies of execution. Acrylic, roller, staples, oil pastel, contrasts and textures will all enhance the joy of discovery.
