Regards littéraires sur l’œuvre de Rebecca Belmore

As part of the exhibition Rebecca Belmore: Facing the Monumental and the Journées de la culture, the Montreal Festival international de littérature joins with the Musée d’art contemporain to present the event Regards littéraires sur l’œuvre de Rebecca Belmore.

Joséphine Bacon, Émilie Monnet and Natasha Kanapé Fontaine, three women of different generations who play an important role in the Indigenous literary and arts scene and are also recognized as leading Québec writers, were each invited to write a text on one of Rebecca Belmore’s pieces, and to read it in the exhibition itself at the MAC.
