SéminArts is an educational program that introduces participants to collecting contemporary art while enriching their understanding of the arts ecosystem. Every Tuesday evening for five weeks, explore behind the scenes of the art world and engage in meaningful exchanges with a variety of guests. These passionate individuals will share their personal insights on what it means to acquire a work of art.

Why participate?

  • Discover private, institutional, and corporate collections on the Island of Montreal.
  • Delve into the unique relationship between artists and gallerists.
  • Take part in conversations that foster new networks.

Program format

  • 5 sessions, in French, in person.
  • Each session will take place in a different location in Montreal, which will be communicated prior to the meeting.
  • Open to anyone curious to learn more about collecting and the contemporary art world.

  • Tuesday, December 2 ◦ Visit to artist Jannick Deslauriers’s studio (Mile End)
