The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal is pleased to partner with the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Family Foundation for the 2023 edition of SéminArts, an educational program that offers an introduction to collecting contemporary art. Over five weeks, participants will have the opportunity to actively engage in conversations with various key contributors from the Montreal art scene including artists, curators and gallery owners. Each will offer an intimate look at what it means to be a collector today.

Program
- Tuesday, March 28: Visit of the Montreal RBC Corporate Art Collection at Place Ville-Marie with RBC Senior Curator Corrie Jackson, followed by a private guided visit of the exhibit currently being shown at the Musée d’art Contemporain de Montréal.
- Tuesday, April 4: Visit of Montreal artist Nelson Henricks’ personal art collection and studio with Mark Lanctôt, curator at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal.
- Tuesday, April 11: Behind-the-scenes tour of the new studio of media artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, with Karine Charbonneau, Head of Exhibitions at Antimodular studio.
- Tuesday April 18: Tour of a collector’s private art collection.
- Tuesday, April 25: Visit of an art gallery.

- Format: 5 sessions (in English) in person
- On Tuesdays March 28, April 4, 11, 18, 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Sessions will take place in a different location each week, such as an artist’s studio, a gallery or an artist’s center, near downtown Montreal.
- Fee(s): $225, tax included, for the 5 sessions
