Are you looking for ideas for inspiring and educational cultural outings for your school groups? Reserve now an activity at the MAC! Our team is waiting for you.

When Arts Meets Architecture

This Tandem activity invites you to explore works that enter into dialogue with the architecture surrounding the museum. As you move through the indoor and outdoor spaces of Place Ville Marie, you will be guided to observe and understand the connections woven between art and the urban landscape. This guiding thread, enriched by two recent acquisitions by artist Marlon Kroll, will lead you in the workshop to draw inspiration from your everyday environment: doors, staircases, windows, familiar objects. Through the application of layers of coloured pencil and oil pastel, you will create intriguing images that move between figuration and abstraction.

The activity will take place in all weather conditions.
