The organizing committee behind the Les Printemps du MAC presented by National Bank felt compelled to remain active in Montreal’s cultural scene. For the first time ever, the committee is proud to be launching a virtual version of its annual silent auction.

The committee will be offering a unique opportunity to acquire stunning pieces of art, with the ultimate goal of supporting the MAC Foundation. The auction will feature 14 artworks by emerging and established Quebecer and Canadian artists, whose varied mediums push the boundaries of the visual arts.

The artworks are exhibited at the former MAC boutique at the Place-des-Arts from April 5 – 25, 2021.

The mission of the Les Printemps du MAC is to introduce the Musée to the next generation of art enthusiasts, which can be achieved twofold: firstly, it aims to educate this generation to contemporary art and to sensibilize them to the vital role the MAC plays in the conservation, education, and dissemination of Québec’s cultural heritage, but also of Canadian and International; and secondly, it aims to mobilize this generation in favour of philanthropic actions that benefit the development of the MAC.

All profits from the sale will be donated to the MAC Foundation and to the contributing artists, whom the committee wanted to support during these difficult times
