With no prior knowledge required, this program of activities that is closely related to plastic expression will be full of rich experiences! Guided by a team of art mediators, you will be encouraged to experiment with aspects of the creative process. Every week, a new visual arts or media activity is offered; subjects, themes, techniques and media vary.

Creative Moments 2022 Programming

CREATIVE MOMENTS: BLOCKCHAINS, BUNNIES AND BAUBLES      

Come and discover the exhibition of Argentinian-born American artist Mika Rottenberg. Her surrealist video installations will make you smile, but also reflect on the world we live in. Through unexpected combinations of trinkets, images, sounds and manipulations, you will create absurd stagings, hovering between reality and fiction.

CREATIVE MOMENTS: OPEN SPACE

This program is developed around videos and animated films from the Museum’s collection. You will observe various techniques, such as juxtaposition, layering and succession of images reminiscent of the esthetic of collage. Eclectic projects will follow.

CREATIVE MOMENTS: MATTER MATTERS

This activity is no longer available.

This series will be an opportunity to discover some of the sculptures from the Museum’s collection dating from the 1960s. You will be fully immersed, creating three-dimensional compositions revealing contrasts that will energize the space. Smooth and textured surfaces, as well as geometric and organic shapes will be featured! .
