Due to bad weather, Riopelle and the ‘Tower of Life’, the outdoor creation workshop around La Joute has been postponed to the following day, Saturday July 8th, 2023

The MAC invites you to rediscover the fantastic world of La Joute (1969-1970), a public art and sculpture-fountain by artist Jean Paul Riopelle surrounded by the towers of downtown Montreal. Take part in this creative workshop inspired by the mythical animal figures made of bronze and the play of mist and light that animate the elements.

Participants of all ages are invited to explore drawing and mixed media outdoors. Take part and discover the creative prompts designed by MAC art mediators who will welcome you on the site dedicated to the artist.

This activity is presented in collaboration with the Riopelle Foundation as part of the festivities surrounding Riopelle’s 100th anniversary.
