FAQs

The MAC is currently preparing its upcoming exhibitions. The Museum remains open to hold certain events. See the Activities or What’s on Today sections for more information.

Through this transformation project, the MAC plans to reassert its position as a leader on the local and international scenes, and to play an increasingly active role in showcasing, sharing and promoting contemporary art from Quebec, Canada and abroad.

The renovation project will enable the MAC to reach its full potential by expanding its exhibition spaces and offering a wider array of educational activities for all ages.

Despite the planned transformation, the MAC remains active and maintains its programming.
The MAC will be featuring exhibitions during the transformation, including events held at partner sites.
This programming starts in the spring and hasn’t been announced yet, but we’ll provide more information soon.

During the MAC’s transformation, members will continue to enjoy free and unlimited priority access to exhibitions and activities, as well as discounts and benefits from more than thirty cultural partners in Montréal.

Five-year MACarte memberships are currently available at a reduced rate (for the cost of a two-year membership!). This is an exceptional opportunity for members to pledge their support for the MAC and enjoy preferred access for five years.
